Ms. Elizabeth Ziemba, JD, MPH
Ms. Ziemba is a consultant in the field of international medical travel and an advocate of access to healthcare for all people regardless of their socio-economic position. Her clients include governments, hospitals, clinics, associations, and others to improve the quality of clinical and nonclinical services around the world. Through training, assessments, accreditations, and consulting, healthcare providers can reach more people and improve the services they offer.
For ten years, Elizabeth was the Founder and President of a non-profit organization, SHARED, that supported rural hospitals and clinics in Lesotho by providing medicines and medical supplies to fill shortages and gaps in funding to those remote locations. The strategic decision was made to merge SHARED with Global Primary Care to increase the effectiveness of both organizations. Her experience in managing SHARED is helping Global Primary Care to communicate about its mission and help to bring primary care family medicine to more people in more places.
