Ms. Linda Hickman is a retired congressional aide and legal services attorney who lives in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to her law degree, Linda has a Master’s degree in Health Policy and Planning. Early in her career, Ms. Hickman interned at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health and subsequently worked as a Grants Administrator and planner for a Worcester-based community services organization.

Linda was introduced to global health when her husband, Dr. Brian Jack, was hired by Project Hope in 1995 to establish the first outpatient family medicine training facility in Budapest, Hungary. The couple moved to Budapest, Hungary with their three young children, and began what has since become a decades-long commitment to global health and development. Ms. Hickman is acutely aware of the need for health care resources in many parts of the world and of the potential for an organization such as Global Primary Care to make a difference. She is a dedicated Board member and serves as the Treasurer of Global Primary Care.
